The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet has legislated The Youth Housing Awareness Policy (one of the Federal Youth Authority Initiatives), in partnership with the Federal and Local Housing Authorities in the UAE. The policy aims to provide the necessary information for youth on how to build their houses. Such as, how to apply for a grant or loan from the Housing Authorities, the eligibility criteria, and other necessary information during the stages of constructions.

Based on the UAE Cabinet and The Youth Housing Awareness Policy, it is required to complete the housing course for all youth applicants between the ages of
(18 to 35). The quiz must be taken to complete the course. Then submit the completion certificate to the Housing Authorities, when applying for a loan or a housing grant.
The Design Manuals aims to help youth in building their houses step by step. By providing them with necessary information, and the main terminologies and best practices.
